Oaks Hotels & Resorts strengthens Australian conferencing offer in 2015

25 Feb 2015

Leading accommodation and conference venue provider Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Minor Hotel Group, is continuing to strengthen its meeting and conference presence in 2015, with venue upgrades transpiring at key city and resort properties throughout Australia.

Oaks Embassy in the South Australian capital of Adelaide recently welcomed two brand new meeting spaces, signaling Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ conferencing debut in Adelaide and a strong year ahead. The venues combine stylish interiors with state-of-the-art technology and are available in four different configurations, suited to myriad occasions.

Oaks Embassy has released special ‘full day delegate packages’ to celebrate the launch, priced from just $58 per person, including room hire and room inclusions (Wi-Fi, TV, whiteboard, flipchart, markers, water, mints, pads and pens), plus freshly brewed tea and coffee, morning and afternoon tea, and a delicious lunch comprising gourmet sandwiches and wraps.

Having also recently completed multi-million dollar revitalisation works, Oaks Oasis – located just one hour north of Brisbane on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast – is an ideal event destination for delegates looking to combine conference attendance with a relaxing, coastal escape.

Conferencing facilities include five refreshed spaces catering for up to 200 delegates, as well as a stunning, outdoor, lagoon-side venue ideal for evening events under the stars, and a 500m2 water play park attraction complete with spacious marquees and a cabana-style bar.

Already renowned as one of Melbourne’s premier conferencing venues after significant upgrades were completed to its seven conferencing spaces in 2014, Oaks on Collins is now undergoing major refurbishments to its onsite accommodation, due for completion by April 2015. The refreshed hotel rooms and apartments will complement the property’s impressive conference and event facilities, resulting in an improved product for delegates visiting Melbourne for business with a touch of leisure.

General Manager of Sales for Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Daniel Csortan, commented, “We are committed to strengthening our reputation as a preferred choice for business delegates seeking stylish, state-of-the-art function spaces and central accommodation in sought after city and resort destinations in Australia and beyond.”
